Before Your Appointment
Shave and exfoliate 24 hours before your appointment using a gentle exfoliant or exfoliating glove.
When showering, use a clear gel body wash. Avoid Dove, Olay, or moisturizing soaps as they can leave a residue that blocks the tan.
If you need to shower the day of your appointment to remove deodorant, makeup, or sweat, do so at least 2-3 hours before. Quick rinse only—no exfoliating. Avoid showering right before your appointment.
Arrive with clean, dry skin—no lotion, makeup, deodorant, or perfume.
Wear loose, dark clothing and sandals to prevent transfer.

After Your Tan
Avoid all moisture—no showering, sweating, lotions, or makeup until you rinse.
Rinse at your scheduled time (standard: usually 8-12 hours; express: 2-4 hours) using lukewarm water only—no soap.
Seeing bronzer wash away is normal. Pat to dry— do not rub.
To Maintain Your Tan
Begin moisturizing morning and night. Hydration makes your tan last longer.
Avoid long hot showers, baths, saunas, swimming, and heavy sweating.
Wash gently with hands only—no loofahs, washcloths, or exfoliating.
Do not exfoliate until your tan is ready to fade.
